We stayed at this Residence Inn for 15 nights in September 2025 while my husband recovered from back surgery. We live in Hawaii and he was not able to travel home for 2 weeks after his procedure. However, I cannot imagine choosing a better place for this stay. 1. The check-in staff were very helpful when we discovered that we had somehow booked a room without grab bars in the shower; a must for post surgery. Gotta mention Saye here. Thank you Saye. 2. The housekeeping staff were so sweet and kind. We think we are on the fastidious side and the housekeepers were on the same page with us. We were very well taken care of. Thank you to all of you. 3. Tracy went out of her way to make us comfortable and at home. Truly we appreciated it. Thank you Tracy. Give little Juliette a special smooch from us. 4. The common areas of the facility are well cared for. I used the gym and laundry facilities which were always clean. My husband was banned from the pool by his doctor but the pool looked nice and clean too. We have a pool at home and frequently we find hotel pools to be less well cared for than ours. But not at the Residence Inn. We will definitely stay here next time we are in the area. Mahalo nui loa, J & K

I recently enjoyed staying at the Residence Inn by Marriott Portland/Vancouver. I cannot say enough about how wonderful the experience was from start to finish. When I arrived, the property felt welcoming, clean, and comfortable. The lobby is bright and well-maintained, and the check-in process was quick and stress-free. The suite was spacious, spotless, and well equipped with everything you’d want for a short or extended stay: a full kitchen, cozy living area, and a very comfortable bed. It felt more like a home away from home than just a hotel room. However, the staff, especially Tracy and Liz, made this stay exceptional. Tracy went above and beyond to ensure I felt at ease during my stay. She was warm, attentive, and always willing to help with recommendations or questions, no matter how small. Liz was equally fantastic, showing genuine hospitality and kindness that made me feel more like a valued guest than just a room number. Both embody the spirit of a customer service professional who is personable and genuinely caring. Breakfast was fresh, varied, and well-stocked every morning, with plenty of options for different preferences. The property is conveniently located near shopping, dining, and the airport, making it an ideal spot for traveling for business or leisure. Overall, I was impressed with the quality of the accommodations and the people who run them. Thanks to Tracy and Liz

I stayed at this location this past weekend. Feb. 13- 14. I believe her name was Liz who was working the front desk when I checked in. Liz was the most professional, Friendly, welcoming, helpful, the list goes on. She made my family and I feel so welcome and safe staying here at the Marriot. Every encounter she had either with myself or my kids she always made us feel welcomed and we can definitely feel her genuine presence. I will definitely always choose this location when we come back to Vancouver just for Liz!

We were forced from out house due to flooding and had to spend 3 weeks here and we could not have picked a better place. The rooms were clean and quiet, the breakfast good enough and the pool a great bonus. But what made our week in purgatory bearable was the staff. Morning, mid day or evening, the desk was responsive, flexible, knowledgeable and very nice. Thank you all

I wish I could give this hotel a 10/5 stars! From the very moment I started talking to Tracy about my wedding room block she was so accommodating and kind. She had so many additional services offered that I didn’t even take advantage of. The morning of the wedding we were supposed to check in my parents had to pick up my wedding dress in unexpected 100°+ weather and it could not be left in the truck. Even though our rooms were not ready yet Tracy was more than happy to store my dress in a private room. Tracy also went out of her way to give me a large hug and introduce herself to me when I came in the building. She’s truly incredible! Every single family member and wedding party member had a phenomenal and personal experience with each staff member. The lovely Liz also deserves a HUGE acknowledgment. She went so above and beyond for every single person in our party. I think she even made friends with my Aunt and one of our groomsman after them chatting her ear off. I can’t begin express my appreciation to this wonderful establishment to the full extent they deserve. Every single room was spotless, beds were neatly made and comfortable, and of course the kitchens were just an awesome plus! I know our wedding parties spent a lot of time at the lovely outdoor fire pit and we all wish we would have brought our swimsuits for a nice cool down in the clean pool area. If you want the best hotel experience - choose this location! We cannot wait to return

We held our family reunion at this hotel in August. There were 45 attending, ages 86 - 9. Our reunion began with an evening banana split party on the patio. There was plenty of room for people to sit and move about. Younger ones were even able to use the adjoining pool. The next day was rainy and we held the gathering indoors. The lobby is large and open with plenty of seating. It was perfect for visiting and eating. (Many family members commented on how great the space was.) I want to call out Tracy, the Director of Sales and Marketing for her help in walking me through getting our event scheduled and her kindness when we all arrived. And then Saye, the afternoon front desk clerk. Saye was an absolute delight! She anticipated our every need and always, always with a smile. The hotel is so lucky to have her! I strongly recommend this hotel.

Our experience at Residence Inn Vancouver, WA was phenomenal from start to finish! Every staff member from the front desk to the cleaning crew embodied warmth and professionalism. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and spotless, and the conference room was perfect for our retreat comfortable, private, and fully equipped for a productive day. Breakfast was excellent, and the entire team went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. You can tell this hotel operates with heart, excellence, and strong leadership, a reflection of Tracy, Director of Sales & Marketing. We’re already planning to return and highly recommend this location to anyone looking for comfort, care, and quality!

The room was spacious and super clean. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was very basic and executed poorly - everything was dry and ready for an apocalypse. They do charge for parking, which is a shame that they are following and contributing to this toxic trend of the industry. The area is not busy (which make it hard to justify the parking fee) and feel safe. Billing is kind of a mess as I was being charged with a "miscellaneous charge" while the staff who checked me out claimed to be an incidental deposit that wasn't explained when checking in. The charge is still on my credit card record and waiting to be resolved.
